Client: The Projects
Brand/Event: Mercedes-Benz
Location: Sydney Night Noodle Markets
SUMMARY
To celebrate innovation in cuisine and design, Mercedes-Benz was looking to create a bespoke dining space for the Night Noodle Markets in Sydney and Melbourne. The project was designed for Mercedes-Benz to support its sponsorship of Good Food Month, and showcased the new C-Class model to an audience of connoisseurs.
SOLUTION
We designed and created ‘The Temporium’. This portable structure moved from city to city providing not only a place for festival goers to sit down and enjoy their meals, but also view the new C-Class model Mercedes-Benz, which was positioned on a stand-alone stage in the middle of the dome.
RESULTS
Thousands of festival-goers came through The Temporium in its first year at the Night Noodle Markets. Not only did it gain great exposure at the festival, but featured in magazines and newspapers, further extending its reach to the market. The project was such a success that it was brought out again in the following years. In its second year, it evolved to include a spiral staircase that took customers up to a floating mezzanine.
TESTIMONIAL
“MNR are extremely professional, creative and a lot of fun to work with. I had the pleasure of working with a large part of the MNR team over 3 years rolling out the Mercedes Temporium across multiple states for the Night Noodle Markets.
The enormous dome was masterfully created to not only be the stand-out structure at every event, but also skillfully designed to be able to be set up and dismantled in challenging conditions and tight time frames. They are fantastic at problem-solving and thinking outside the box to deliver exceptional results.
